U.S. Shame on Death Penalty

Great celebration of Nebraska legislature overriding the governor's veto and abolishing the death penalty. 

But also shame that the U.S. is so far behind other civilized nations on this issue - - far behind all nations in fact.  Other countries, according to the BBC, are getting rid of the death penalty.  But not the U.S.  

Co-author Julie got a note from her friend Joe Engle, who has spent his life trying to end the death penalty, on the good news about Nebraska.
