I'm personally not interested in this thing (who wants to be shot through a tube with no view, not to mention that there's still a lot of detail work, some apparent calculation errors in regard to heat, and what has to be an absurdedly low construction cost estimate)--but your comment IS interesting, about this being from a company that is at least somewhat established as an auto builder. It's notable that it comes from a very young and upstart auto builder, too. Of course, there are those who cynically say Musk is really trying to prevent the California railroad from being built to compete with his cars. . .
