I also think teachers need to stop complaining about parents. I see blogs all the time where teachers just complain and complain about the parents. As a marketing director, I look at parents being one of teachers' key constituent groups. I know I would not be successful in my career if I disparaged the key constituent groups of my employer. That doesn't mean I never get irritated. It just means I keep my mouth shut.

Yes. Adults who speak positively about experience lead happier and more productive lives. Both work life and home life benefit.
