Why aren't more Gen Xers lifelong learning CEOs?
We asked Gen Xers to tell us their thoughts.
They did.
Two theories:
1. Baby boomers are not retiring, thus preventing Gen Xers from moving up to CEO positions in lifelong learning programs.
2. Gen Xers value family, friends, leisure time and do not want the increased work time that goes with being a lifelong learning CEO.
Suzanne Kart, LERN's brilliant Gen X expert, noticed that there were lots of Gen Xers in our marketing institute this month, but across the hall there were none in our executive leadership institute. That led to our investigation. For responses and comments from 10 Gen Xers, click here.
