He got there 48 hours ahead of time and slept outside in Chicago to be first in line to get into the Obama victory celebration in Grant Park. The first person was age: 28. Gen Y.
Some 23 million Gen Yers voted, 2 million more than four years ago for people aged 18-29. And they voted overwhelming for Obama. (photo of Shawn Fanning, Napster inventor and oldest Gen Yer, NOT the first guy in Grant Park)
NineShift co-author Julie Coates predicted Baby Boomers would vote for McCain, and she was right. But one can very well argue that Gen Y voted Obama in, and without them he would not have won. What do you think?
As usual, Nineshift creates embarassing generalizations that contribute nothing to a dialogue on a topic, pats itself on the back for having a "thought" and asks others what they "think."
I think you don't get it and never will. Thanks for asking.

I'm a boomer and don't have a single boomer friend that voted for McCain...I must be hanging out with the right crowd!
