Suzanne Kart

This isn't about energy consumption, but I think it's an interesting piece of information.

My husband, a newspaper journalist, was complaining about the lack of good interns from Michigan State (we both went there). When we were in school in the early 1990s newspaper internships were really hard to get and only the best students got them. Today, nobody wants them. He couldn't figure it out, but I can. Why would a Generation Y person want to be a newspaper journalist? They probably aren't interested in becoming blacksmiths, either. Newspapers are "so 20th Century."
